About
AeroMotors is a Ukrainian manufacturer of brushless DC motors for unmanned aerial vehicles, founded in 2023 and headquartered in Lviv. The company produces its motors entirely in-house, covering CNC metal processing of components, winding, assembly, balancing and final testing. Its range covers propeller sizes from 7 to 32 inches, including standard models and custom motor solutions built to specific performance requirements. The motors are designed for multirotor, fixed-wing and hybrid UAVs as well as UGVs, from FPV quadcopters to fixed-wing reconnaissance drones.
The company is positioned around reducing dependence on Chinese drone components. China accounts for roughly 98% of global drone motor production, and demand for European-made alternatives is growing. AeroMotors has established customers in Ukraine and in two NATO countries, and its investors have helped it open talks with a drone interceptor manufacturer, a tactical FPV producer and a Swedish manufacturer.
AeroMotors reported production capacity of about 10,000 electric motors per month, with plans to scale toward 60,000. In December 2025 it raised $550,000 (about €467,500 or SEK 5.1 million) from Swedish investment firm Front Ventures for a 5.5% stake, valuing the company at about $10 million. The funds are being used to buy new equipment, expand factory capacity and establish manufacturing operations in Europe. The company was also previously supported by MITS Capital and is part of Brave1, Ukraine's defence technology cluster. Andrii Tyndyk serves as chief executive and Yevheniia Kliuieva as chief operating officer.
