About
Arcos is a Munich-based civil security company that builds and operates software and alarm receiving infrastructure for European civil safety. Its Trident platform ingests signals from alarm panels, video streams, sensors, emergency-call units, technical installations and access systems, holds them as objects in one model, and writes decisions back to the field. The platform is used to assess alarms, filter false positives, escalate cases and document incidents.
Arcos also operates 24/7 alarm receiving centers on its own stack. It holds VdS 3138 recognition as an alarm receiving center (NSL) and is certified under VdS 3534 for its Trident software. The company states that its software and data are operated in Europe and that customer-identifying data is not used to train models. Its customer segments are public sector and critical infrastructure, commercial sites such as retail, logistics, industry and offices, and residential users.
The company was founded in 2025 by Louis Wübben and Moritz Steigerwald and launched publicly in September 2026. In September 2026 it closed a €5.5 million seed round led by High-Tech Gründerfonds, with participation from Bayern Kapital, Pact, Haufe, Robin Capital and strategic business angels. The funds are earmarked for expanding the team in Germany, extending the product portfolio and entering critical infrastructure markets, with further European markets planned next.
