CloudNC is a London-based manufacturing technology company founded in 2015 by Theo Saville and Chris Emery. Its lead product, CAM Assist, is AI software that generates machining strategies, toolpaths, feeds and speeds for CNC machines. It plugs into CAM packages including Autodesk Fusion, Mastercam, Siemens NX, GibbsCAM and SolidCAM, and it works with 3-axis and 3+2-axis milling. The company operates a factory in Chelmsford, Essex, alongside its London headquarters.

CAM Assist is used by more than 1,000 machine shops worldwide, with hundreds of them in the United States. Reported customers include Lockheed Martin, Bedford CNC and Maki Precision. Its features include machinability checks, cycle time estimation, AI cutting parameters and automated soft jaw fixture design. CAM Assist 2.0 was launched in September 2025, and Quote Agent, an AI tool for quoting and estimating, was launched in October 2026.

CloudNC has targeted defense and aerospace manufacturers, has pursued ITAR compliance and FedRAMP certification, and offers an AWS GovCloud deployment option. The company holds ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2 and Cyber Essentials certifications. It was named one of Bloomberg's UK Startups to Watch in 2024 and was recognised in the FT Tech Champions list in 2023. Autodesk and Lockheed Martin are strategic partners, and total funding raised is reported at about $128M.
