About
Comand AI is a Paris-based defence technology startup founded in 2023 that builds AI-native command and control (C2) software for military and security operations. Its core product, Prevail, is an operating workspace for military headquarters that fuses multi-source intelligence — ISR, SIGINT, HUMINT, OSINT, and geospatial data — into a unified, continuously updated operational picture. The platform supports the full operational cycle: mission analysis, terrain analysis, manoeuvre planning, and after-action review, all built on a shared data core that compounds context across missions.
Prevail is designed to be interoperable with existing C2, BMS, and GIS stacks rather than replacing them, and is built to defense-grade security standards. Early deployments include the French and German (Bundeswehr) armed forces; a trial with the Bundeswehr Cyber Innovation Hub showed 4× faster planning, 10× faster terrain analysis, and 30-second mission analysis cycles. The founding team combines deep defence-sector expertise — CEO Loïc Mougeolle led Naval Group's disruptive-innovation incubator — with world-class AI and software engineering backgrounds from Palantir, OpenAI, Snapchat, and Asana.
In June 2026, Comand AI announced a strategic partnership with Airbus Defence and Space to integrate Prevail into Airbus's C2 ecosystem, targeting NATO allied forces. Strategic investor Saab has also agreed to integrate Prevail into its GlobalEye airborne early-warning aircraft as part of a next-generation C2/C5ISR ecosystem. With offices in Paris and London, the company is focused on scaling its platform across NATO markets and into new operational domains.
