DNA Script is a Paris-area life sciences company developing enzymatic DNA synthesis (EDS), a non-chemical method for making DNA and RNA building blocks. Its core product, the SYNTAX benchtop DNA printer with ready-to-use reagent kits, lets labs produce single-stranded DNA oligonucleotides in-house, overnight, instead of waiting days or weeks for third-party suppliers.

The company's R&D covers enzyme engineering, surface and nucleotide chemistry, and instrumentation. It has also developed longer and more complex constructs (such as high-GC, poly-A/T and ITR sequences) and gene-assembly approaches. Customers and partners include CROs, core facilities, biotech and pharma companies, governmental agencies and academic labs.

Traction includes a distributor network extended in 2026 to India, Latin America, Japan and South Korea, a CEPI-funded mRNA DNA-template automation project, and an up-to-$26M ARPA-H FLASH award with GE HealthCare for cell-free DNA bioproduction. Marc Montserrat became CEO in October 2024, with Thomas Ybert moving to Chief Scientific Officer.
