Ecosmic is a European space intelligence company headquartered in Turin, Italy, building advanced software for space security and space domain awareness (SDA). Its flagship product, SAFE, is an end-to-end collision avoidance and risk estimation platform that uses proprietary algorithms and real-time data to reduce false collision alerts by up to 70%, cutting operator workload by 20+ hours per week. SAFE covers orbit determination, anomaly detection, collision avoidance manoeuvre optimisation, and enhanced satellite shape modelling, and is already used by operators managing more than 75 satellites across Europe, the United States, and the Middle East.

The company also develops VALKYR, an end-to-end SDA suite for institutional and defence users that federates ground- and space-based sensors across optical, radar, and passive RF modalities to deliver continuously updated space intelligence and threat alerts. VALKYR is designed to provide decision superiority and freedom of action across all orbits, translating assessed risk into operational response options.

Founded in 2023 by three space engineers who met at the European Space Agency, Ecosmic has rapidly established itself among Europe's leading space startups. The company has been incubated at ESA BIC Turin, selected for NATO's DIANA Accelerator Programme, accepted into the Creative Destruction Lab programme, and recognised as a CASSINI Business Accelerator participant and 2026 CASSINI Challenges winner. Key institutional partners include the European Space Agency, the Italian Space Agency (ASI), and Leonardo, with whom Ecosmic signed a Memorandum of Understanding in September 2026 to deepen collaboration on space security.
