About

Enchanted Tools is a Paris-based humanoid robotics company founded in 2021 by Jérôme Monceaux, co-founder of Aldebaran and co-creator of the Nao and Pepper robots, together with Samuel Benveniste. Its flagship product is the Mirokaï robot family, including the Miroki and Miroka models. These are social mobile manipulators with an expressive animated face, two arms with multi-finger hands, a rolling-globe base for navigation, and AI for conversation, autonomous movement and object handling. The company was created to focus on the interaction, navigation and object-grasping capabilities that its founder considered underdeveloped in earlier projects.

Mirokaï is aimed at hospitals, nursing homes, supported living facilities, retail, hotels, restaurants and airports. Deployments and pilots include tests at the Hôpital Broca in Paris with AP-HP, a first delivery to the ISIR robotics institute at Sorbonne University in 2024, a pilot at The Mather in the United States, a facility of the APREH in Sospel, France, a cancer institute in Montpellier, Oulu University of Applied Sciences in Finland, and a launch in Riyadh with Ability Center for children with autism. Partnerships include Google DeepMind, which selected the company as a Trusted Tester of Gemini 2.0 for humanoid robotics, Saft, which supplies battery packs for the new Mirokaï generation, BLUESKEYE AI on socially intelligent interaction, maxon France on mechatronic co-design, and Kanematsu, which holds a domestic sales agreement for Japan.

The company raised a €15M seed round in early 2022, described as the largest seed round in French robotics history, and a further €10M in May 2023. It holds the Deeptech label from Bpifrance, is part of the French Tech 2030 programme, was named a 2025 Champion of Pôle Systematic, and leads the JOKER project under the France 2030 i-Démo programme. Commercial availability of Mirokaï V1 was announced in June 2026. The company delivered dozens of robots and generated over $2.3M in revenue in 2025, and had roughly 130 employees according to LinkedIn.
