About

Graphmatech is a Sweden-based deep-tech materials company that invents, develops, and supplies novel graphene-enhanced polymer and metal materials for sustainable industrial use. Its patented Aros Graphene® technology solves the long-standing agglomeration problem in graphene applications by coating particles with a thin graphene layer, enabling large-scale industrial integration. Core product lines include conductive polymers for ESD and highly conductive applications, AROS Polyamide-Graphene composites for hydrogen storage and transport (reducing leakage by up to 83%), graphene-enhanced barrier packaging materials, and metal-graphene composites with improved wear resistance and conductivity.

Graphmatech's primary market focus is the hydrogen economy, where its polymer-graphene composites serve as drop-in replacements for liners in Type IV composite pressure vessels and hydrogen pipelines. The company holds 32 patents and has been recognized as a 2025 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer. It operates a manufacturing facility in Uppsala, Sweden, with ambitions to scale production from 5 to 200 tonnes annually via an EU-funded pilot facility.

The company has secured backing from strategic industrial investors including ABB Technology Ventures, Walerud Ventures, EIT InnoEnergy, Almi Invest GreenTech, Molindo Energy, and Forward Ventures, alongside grants from the EU LIFE programme and the Swedish Energy Agency. It has established strategic partnerships with Levidian (UK) and Filalab UAB (Lithuania), and is actively engaged in the GCC hydrogen ecosystem. Total disclosed funding stands at approximately €14M across equity rounds and grants.
