About

Inbolt is a Paris-based robotics software company founded in 2019 that gives industrial robots the ability to see, think, and adapt in real time. Its platform combines a CAD-trained generalist AI vision model with real-time robot motion control, enabling any robot — FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, Universal Robots, or Comau — to locate parts and adjust trajectories in under 80 milliseconds. There are no datasets to label and no reprogramming required: engineers upload a CAD model and deploy to the shop floor within hours.

The platform covers the full automation workflow: Inbolt Robot Programming generates executable motion paths directly from a digital twin, the Inbolt Vision Model identifies part position and orientation in any environment, and Inbolt Robot Control streams corrected motion to the robot controller in real time. Use cases span bin picking, pick-and-place, fastening, and dispensing across stationary and moving production lines.

Inbolt's technology is hardware-agnostic and can be retrofitted onto existing robot stations or pre-installed on new ones, enabling manufacturers to upgrade automation without replacing equipment. The platform is deployed on more than 200 robots across 100+ factories on three continents, serving customers including Stellantis, Ford, Toyota, Bosch, Beko, and Flex. Inbolt opened a Detroit office in 2026 and is expanding into the US, Asia-Pacific, data center construction, and electronics manufacturing.
