About

IQM Quantum Computers is a global leader in building and delivering full-stack superconducting quantum computers, founded in 2018 as a spin-out from Aalto University and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. The company offers a diverse product portfolio ranging from the 5-qubit IQM Spark for universities and research labs, to the IQM Radiance line with up to 150 high-fidelity qubits designed for high-performance computing (HPC) centres, and the IQM Halocene system aimed at unlocking quantum error correction. IQM also provides IQM Resonance, a cloud-based quantum platform for research and enterprise use cases.

IQM differentiates itself through an on-premises deployment model that gives customers full ownership and control of their quantum infrastructure, and through a proprietary semiconductor fabrication facility with cleanroom capacity to manufacture up to 30 full-stack systems annually. With over 300 quantum patent applications and more than 30 computers built, the company has achieved the #1 position in on-premise quantum computer deliveries globally over the past year, serving customers including Oak Ridge National Laboratory (US), CINECA (Italy), VTT (Finland), LRZ (Germany), and Poznan University of Technology (Poland).

In July 2026, IQM became the first European quantum computing company to list on a major U.S. exchange, trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under ticker IQMX, with a concurrent listing on Nasdaq Helsinki. The company raised over €600 million in total capital prior to its public listing, including a landmark $320 million Series B in September 2025 led by Ten Eleven Ventures—the largest quantum computing Series B in Europe. IQM operates across Europe, Asia, and North America, with major operations in Munich, Germany, and offices in Japan, South Korea, France, Spain, and the US.
