About
Isomorphic Labs is a London-based AI drug design and development company, incorporated in February 2021 as a spin-off from Alphabet's DeepMind. It builds on and extends the AlphaFold protein structure prediction system, which was recognized with the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. The company describes its mission as solving all disease with AI.
Its core product is a proprietary AI drug design engine, IsoDDE, which combines predictive and generative models to model biological phenomena, predict how drugs will perform, and design novel molecules. The company is advancing drug design programs across multiple therapeutic areas and drug modalities, with the stated goal of moving its pipeline toward the clinic.
Isomorphic Labs is backed by Alphabet and GV, and in 2025 raised $600M in its first external round led by Thrive Capital. In May 2026 it announced a $2.1B Series B led by Thrive Capital with participation from Alphabet, GV, MGX, Temasek, CapitalG and the UK Sovereign AI Fund. Offices are listed in London, Lausanne (Switzerland) and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Press reports in October 2026 said the company is in early talks to raise at a valuation of $40B or more.
