About
KrattWorks is an Estonian defense drone manufacturer founded in 2018, building jamming-resistant unmanned aerial systems for military and front-line operators. Its product portfolio spans the Ghost Dragon tactical ISR quadcopter — equipped with a narrow-angle thermal camera, wide-band frequency-hopping radio, and a GNSS-loss recovery flight mode — and the DART/DART-R aerial target family designed to replicate threats like Russian Shahed-type drones for anti-aircraft training. The company is ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110 certified, operates from a 2,300 m² facility in Tallinn, and maintains an office in Kyiv.
KrattWorks has grown rapidly on the back of real-world validation in Ukraine, where its Ghost Dragon ISR platform has been deployed with Ukrainian assault brigades and proved effective under active electronic warfare conditions. The company holds a seven-year, €15 million framework contract with the Estonian Centre for Defence Investments and counts defence ministries from eight NATO countries — including Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden — among its 30+ paying customers. Revenue surged to an estimated €19.5 million in 2025, up roughly 26× year-over-year, while production scaled from around 100 drones per year to 120 per month.
The company coordinates Project BadB, a €6 million European Defence Fund consortium developing GNSS-free navigation using machine vision and satellite imagery for unmanned systems. KrattWorks has also been selected into the NATO DIANA accelerator program and won the DefenceTech of the Year award at the Estonian Startup Awards 2025. The team has grown to over 90 people, more than half of whom work in R&D.
