About

Liftero is a Polish space propulsion company based in Kraków that develops and manufactures chemical propulsion systems for satellites. Its flagship product, BOOSTER, is a configurable green chemical propulsion system that uses non-toxic propellants and is designed for satellites weighing between 30 and 500 kg. Its modular architecture allows configurations for orbit maintenance, manoeuvres, collision avoidance and end-of-life deorbiting.

The company was founded in 2019 by Tomasz Palacz and Przemysław Drożdż, and the idea originated during college at the AGH Space Systems science club. Liftero was incubated at ESA Business Incubation Centre Poland, where it developed the BOOSTER electronic control unit and completed incubation in 2024. BOOSTER flew on the RED5 mission aboard SpaceX's Transporter-13 rideshare in March 2025, and a test campaign started in February 2026 reported full operation in orbit.

Liftero's contracts include a 2026 agreement with India's OrbitAID to supply two multi-thruster BOOSTER configurations for an in-orbit servicing mission, a €250,000 ESA project completed in April 2026, an ESA HIPSTER project for a backup electric thruster that entered a three-month test campaign in June 2026, and a €333,000 contract with a satellite manufacturer in Asia announced in July 2026. In April 2026 Liftero signed an agreement with Creotech Instruments on integrating its propulsion with satellite platforms.

Liftero raised a pre-seed round in May 2023 from Sunfish Partners, Freya Capital, bValue and angel investors. It completed a PLN 17.5 million public offering of series C shares at PLN 35 per share in May 2026 and began trading on the NewConnect market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange on 30 June 2026, as the first space-sector company listed on NewConnect. The company reported revenue of about PLN 1.7 million in 2025.
