About
Lysk is a European defence software startup building modern software for hostile environments. Founded in 2025 by a French-German-Polish trio — Florent Ogès (ex-GIGN special forces officer), Henry Heinemann (ex-Cloudflare), and Marek Majkowski (ex-Cloudflare) — the company targets the critical gap between fast-moving battlefield communications and the slow, manual processes armies use to document and act on them.
Its first product, Lore, is an AI-powered system of record that aggregates live battlefield communications — radio, VoIP, chat, email, and phones — and transforms ephemeral voice transmissions into structured, searchable operational timelines. The platform runs fully offline and air-gapped (no internet required), deploys on-premises or in a sovereign cloud, and integrates with existing Battlefield Management Systems (BMS). AI capabilities include multilingual transcription, event synthesis, automatic mission briefings, and automated data routing to logistics and command chains.
Lore was deployed and tested during Exercise Orion 2026, a French joint multi-domain exercise involving 12,500 personnel and allied forces from the UK, Germany, and the US, reaching TRL 7. It has also been tested with Ukrainian officers on the front line and presented at Eurosatory 2026. Lysk is in active discussions with German integrators and is exploring a Ukraine-specific prototype. The company operates offices in Paris and Warsaw and has a team of approximately 13 people.
Lysk is backed by Project A Ventures, Expeditions Fund, Archangel Ventures, Freedom Fund VC, and angel investors including founders of Cloudflare, ElevenLabs, and Quantum Systems.
