About

Multiverse Computing is a software company headquartered in San Sebastián, Spain, with offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Paris, Munich, London, Milan, Toronto and San Francisco. It was co-founded in 2019 by Enrique Lizaso, Román Orús, Alfonso Rubio-Manzanares and Samuel Mugel, and it originally built Singularity, a quantum-inspired optimization platform aimed at finance and later other industries such as energy, manufacturing, defense and cybersecurity.

The company's flagship product is CompactifAI, a model compression technology that applies tensor networks, a mathematical framework from quantum physics, to shrink large language models by up to 95 percent while retaining close to original accuracy. Compressed models are offered as an API, can be deployed in customer clouds, on-premise data centers or on edge devices such as PCs, phones, vehicles and drones, and reduce inference costs by roughly 50 to 80 percent. The company also launched Quasar 438B, a 438-billion-parameter reasoning model with a 1 million token context window, in September 2026, and a Foundry platform for sovereign AI infrastructure is listed as coming soon.

Multiverse serves customers in finance, energy, manufacturing, healthcare, aerospace, cybersecurity and defense, including Allianz, Bank of Canada, Bosch, Iberdrola, Indra, PwC and Telefónica. Partnerships include Qualcomm, Intel, Cohere, Marubeni, Zylon, PwC and Plain Concepts. The company has also taken part in public R&D programs in Spain and the EU. It raised a €10M seed round in 2021, a €25M Series A in 2024, a €189M Series B in 2025 and a $570M (€500M) Series C in July 2026 at a $1.7B pre-money valuation, with total funding reported at about $800M.
