About

NEURA Robotics is a German Physical AI company founded in 2019 and headquartered in Metzingen, Germany. The company designs and manufactures full-stack cognitive robots — including industrial collaborative arms (MAiRA, LARA, MAV), a service/household robot (MiPA), a four-legged explorer (4NE1 MAV), and Europe's first production-ready humanoid robot (4NE1) — alongside a proprietary AI system called AURA. Its robots are engineered to see, hear, feel, and learn, enabling safe human-robot collaboration across industrial, logistics, healthcare, and consumer settings.

Beyond hardware, NEURA has built the Neuraverse, an open ecosystem and platform where robots continuously share skills, AI models, and real-world data. The company also operates NEURA Gyms — large-scale, real-world robot training environments — and has expanded into subsidiary businesses covering mobile robots, healthcare automation, industrial electronics, and system integration under the NEURA Group umbrella.

NEURA serves customers across food and beverage, logistics, healthcare, metal and machining, and transportation industries. With an order backlog and deployment pipeline exceeding $1 billion, the company targets serial production of several million robots by 2030. As of 2025 the team had grown to over 1,500 members across more than 45 countries and 8+ global locations, and the company has raised over $1.6 billion in total disclosed funding, making it Europe's most-funded humanoid robotics company.
