About

NODE Robotics GmbH is a software and hardware company based in Stuttgart, Germany, founded in 2020 as a spin-off from the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology IPA. It develops automation technology for industrial intralogistics, focused on mobile robots used for pallet transport, production supply and fleet coordination in warehouses and factories.

The core product is NODE.OS, a modular software platform providing localization, hybrid navigation, fleet coordination and a user interface for autonomous mobile robots, including robots from multiple vendors. NODE.move and NODE.flow are its navigation modules. NODE Robot Solutions offers complete mobile robots, including the autonomous forklift Forky15 and the autonomous pallet truck Jacky15, which was presented at the AMB trade fair in September 2026 together with HandlingTech. NODE.tracking is a real-time location system for forklifts and tugger trains, developed with partners including INDYON and Naise and integrated with Meili FMS.

More than 2,000 NODE software licenses have been issued, with software in productive use at 25 or more customer sites and enabled on more than 50 robot types. Customers and partners include BMW Group, idealworks, SHERPA Mobile Robotics, BLEICHERT Automation and Tugbot, and the company has announced partnerships with SYNAOS, Advantech, NEURA Robotics and Ceterio. Funding to date includes a pre-seed round from FTTF, a seed round with FTTF, Schauenburg Ventures and Plug and Play Tech Center, and a Series A led by Momenta Ventures in February 2025.
