About

NORDA Dynamics is a Ukrainian defense technology company based in Lviv that develops autonomous control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. Its systems are designed to fly missions without operator input in environments where GPS is unavailable, traditional communications are lost, or electronic warfare is active. The company was founded in 2023 by a team whose members had volunteered in support of frontline military operations since 2014.

The flagship product is Underdog, a universal autonomy module that takes over the final phase of a drone's flight after an operator designates a target through the onboard camera. It uses computer vision and onboard AI for terminal guidance and is designed to be GPS-agnostic and easily integrated across multiple flight controllers. A second product, StableLink, is a visual stabilization system that maintains altitude, azimuth and coordinates without relying solely on external navigation signals. The company reports that its modules are integrated with dozens of Ukrainian drone manufacturers and have been deployed in combat. Mass production began in early 2024, and by September 2024 the company had sold 10,000 software licenses, with license prices reported between $10 and $50 depending on volume.

NORDA Dynamics sells its software on a business-to-business basis to drone manufacturers. It has raised a total of about $1.15 million, including a $5,000 grant in December 2024, a $150,000 pre-seed round in April 2025, and a $1 million seed round led by Varangians in September 2025. The funding is being used to expand production, grow the engineering team and develop new products. In August 2026 the company announced a partnership with Palladyne AI to integrate Palladyne's SwarmOS collaborative autonomy software with Underdog for coordinated drone swarms.
