About
Quadsat is a Danish defense-technology company headquartered at Hans Christian Andersen Airport in Odense, co-located with the UAS Denmark Test Center. Founded in 2017 as a university project by Joakim Espeland and Andrian Buchi, the company initially pioneered drone-based satellite antenna testing and calibration before pivoting to become a provider of modular Radio Frequency (RF) sensing and Electronic Warfare (EW) payloads for UAV platforms.
At the core of Quadsat's offering is SpectraLoc, a platform-agnostic EW payload that integrates into Group 2–5 UAVs to deliver precise geolocation of radars and jamming devices at ranges of up to 100 km, with signal detection up to 150 km. The system covers the 2–18 GHz frequency range and weighs approximately 3 kg, making it SWaP-C optimized for airborne, vehicle, and ground-based deployment. It is paired with Quadsat's Spectrum Operations Software for real-time signal analysis, spectrum mapping, and mission planning.
Quadsat holds ISO 9001 certification and has validated its systems in partnership with NATO NCIA, verifying WGS compliance for the US Space Force. The company has raised approximately $18.9M across four funding rounds from investors including IQ Capital, Seraphim Space, Join Capital, North Ventures, and EIFO (Export and Investment Fund of Denmark), and was selected for the NATO DIANA accelerator program. Customers and partners include Eutelsat, Arabsat, ALL.SPACE, and GovSat, and the company is expanding its defense presence across NATO member countries.
