About
Quobly is a Grenoble-based quantum computing company founded in 2022 as a spin-off from CEA-Leti and CNRS, and originally named Siquance before rebranding to Quobly in 2023. The company builds silicon spin-qubit quantum processors on FD-SOI semiconductor processes using 300 mm wafers, so that qubits can be manufactured in existing industrial fabs rather than with exotic materials. Its product line, Alloy, includes Alloy Pioneer, a rack-scale system designed for integration into existing HPC and data center infrastructure, and Alloy Forge, a quantum application development environment. The company reports more than 2.4 million qubits fabricated at STMicroelectronics and has filed 65 patents.
Quobly's strategic partners include STMicroelectronics, which signed a collaboration in December 2024 to advance its quantum processing unit on 28nm FD-SOI technology, SEALSQ, Air Liquide, Soitec and Orano. It has signed research or industrialization agreements with TNO, Orange Quantum Systems, Absolut System, CEA-Leti, Entropica Labs, SiPearl and qBraid, and it opened a Canadian subsidiary in Sherbrooke, Quebec in January 2026. Its first commercial quantum computer, Alloy Pioneer, is planned to be accessible through the cloud by the end of 2026 and deployed within HPC infrastructure in 2027.
In June 2026 Quobly closed a €115 million Series A led by Bpifrance, SEALSQ and STMicroelectronics, with participation from the EIC Fund, Blast, ALIAD and Innovacom, following a seed round of €19 million in 2023. The company employs more than 120 people and targets customers in chemistry, materials science, optimization and logistics, as well as cloud and HPC operators.
