About

Sensofusion is a Finnish defense-tech company founded in 2016 that develops and manufactures advanced counter-UAS (C-UAS) systems for military and law enforcement customers worldwide. Its flagship product family, Airfence, is a passive radio-frequency drone detection system that provides real-time locations of both drones and their operators, with detection ranges of up to 10 kilometres. The company is vertically integrated, owning its entire value chain from R&D through manufacturing to after-market services, and produces systems in Finland and Canada.

Sensofusion's product portfolio spans passive detection (Airfence 7, Airfence Mini), RF jammers, interceptor drones, extended-range antenna systems (KELA), radar integration, optical night-vision sensing, and satellite-based SAR radar reconnaissance. Customers include the U.S. Marine Corps, NASA, the U.S. Secret Service, the Government of Ukraine, the Israeli Police, the UK Ministry of Defence, the Finnish Border Guard, and several international airports. The company also operates in Ukraine and maintains offices in Canada, Israel, and the United Kingdom.

The company has grown rapidly since Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine, scaling revenue from €1.7 million in 2021 to €20.8 million in 2024 and €35.1 million in 2025, with defense and security customers accounting for 98.5% of revenue. Headcount reached approximately 111 by mid-2026. In 2025, Sensofusion received Finland's President's Internationalization Award. In 2026, the company acquired aircraft manufacturer Atol Aviation (Scandinavian Seaplanes Oy) to launch Sensofusion Aviation, and completed a highly oversubscribed €300 million IPO on Nasdaq Helsinki at a market capitalisation of approximately €1.6 billion.
