About

Six Robotics is an Oslo-based defence technology company founded in 2023 that develops advanced autonomy software for unmanned systems. Its flagship product, Valkyrie, is a hardware-agnostic swarm orchestration platform that enables multiple UAVs from different manufacturers to operate together as coordinated, intelligent teams — adapting in real time to complex and contested environments where GPS and communications links cannot be relied on. The company's software allows a single operator to command an army of robots, shifting from pre-programmed drones to true collaborative autonomy.

Six Robotics was built in close collaboration with the Norwegian Armed Forces and the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI), and its technology is described as combat-proven. The company targets NATO and allied defence markets, offering a scalable solution to the growing challenge of being outnumbered by adversarial unmanned systems. Partnerships include Teleplan Globe (FACNAV C4ISR integration), STARK Defence (recce-strike capability), Robot Aviation, and AEVEX Aerospace in the United States.

Founded by a Special Forces veteran and backed by a team of defence, software, and AI experts, Six Robotics grew from 5 to nearly 90 employees entirely on friends-and-family funding before closing its first institutional round. The company is now accelerating international expansion across Europe and NATO-allied markets, with plans to establish operations in Denmark in 2026.
