About
Vigilant Works is a Ukrainian defence-tech company founded in 2025 that develops counter-UAV systems and UAV autonomy technology for contested environments. Its core product line starts with Algiz-1, a high-speed interceptor drone that has passed combat trials. The team is developing Algiz-2, a next-generation interceptor expected to exceed 600 km/h, and has been selected into the EU4UA.org Defence program, funded by the European Union and implemented by BRDO and BRAVE1, to finalize that platform.
The company's technology stack includes AI-driven autonomous guidance, airborne radar and detection technologies designed to counter jet-powered aerial threats. Its radar is being developed for use on a mothership drone operating together with interceptor drones, and includes an in-house microwave component developed with Dutch partners. Its systems are designed to operate in GPS- and communications-denied environments using AI-based flight control and fleet management.
Vigilant Works serves military and security customers that require counter-UAV and autonomous defence systems. In July 2026 it received seed investment from Angel One, a Ukrainian early-stage fund, with proceeds earmarked for autonomy technologies, radar solutions and scaling operations. The company is headquartered in Kyiv and has a small team of several employees.
