About

Wayren is an Estonian defence-technology company founded in 2020 by former members of the Estonian Cyber Command, including Henry Härm, Oliver Tiit and Tarmo Aia. Its patented Singularity platform is a software-based communication system that creates a hybrid mesh network connecting soldiers, command posts, vehicles and drones. It synchronises data over whichever civil or military links are available, such as mobile, satellite or radio, so it keeps working when networks are degraded or jammed.

The platform was developed with support from the Estonian Ministry of Defence and piloted with the Estonian Defence League and the Estonian Defence Forces, with field trials reported with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In July 2025 Singularity was validated during a HIMARS live-fire exercise on Saaremaa. Wayren has also company materials pointing to dual-use use cases in emergency response, remote industry and underground mining.

In April 2025 EFA Group, a Greek aerospace and defence group, signed a strategic investment agreement of up to €7.9M, with its subsidiary SCYTALYS integrating Singularity into battle management systems. Wayren has also partnered with Ukraine's Himera to offer its G1 Pro radios within tactical command kits, and signed a cooperation memorandum with Turkish Aerospace subsidiary CTech at MSPO 2026. The company has been part of the NATO DIANA programme and the Tehnopol startup incubator.
