About

Xer Technologies develops and manufactures long-endurance hybrid-electric Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) for demanding professional missions across defence, maritime, energy, and infrastructure verticals. Its flagship platform, the X8 PRO, delivers up to 3.5 hours of flight endurance with a 2 kg payload, carries up to 10 kg total, and is BVLOS-ready with a 50+ km mission radius — enabling capabilities such as SIGINT, counter-UAS, mine and UXO detection, maritime ISR, power line inspection, and gas detection.

The company's Swiss-designed, Sweden-and-Switzerland-produced aircraft combine the hovering flexibility of a multicopter with substantially greater endurance than conventional battery-powered systems through a proprietary hybrid-electric propulsion system. Xer integrates payloads from partners such as PLATH and CENTUM, adding cellular geolocation and electronic warfare capabilities, and has received operational BVLOS approvals in Switzerland and other European markets. Customers include ConocoPhillips, the Spanish Navy, and the Swiss Armed Forces.

Xer Technologies traces its roots to 2011 as a pioneer in commercial drone flying and search-and-rescue services. In 2021, Rex International Holding (Singapore) invested up to USD 4 million and rebranded the company as Xer Technologies. The X8 was launched in late 2022 and the upgraded X8 PRO in May 2026. The holding entity, Xer Tech Holding AB, listed on Sweden's Spotlight Stock Market under ticker XER in January 2026 via a reverse acquisition of Renewable Ventures Nordic AB, representing a transaction valued at approximately USD 10 million. Rex International remains the largest shareholder (~49.76% post-2026 transactions).
